This Roundtable aimed to promote geothermal energy in Kazakhstan, present regional and national experiences, and explore practical opportunities for implementing projects using geothermal resources.

The participants reviewed the capacities of members of the Regional Group on Modelling, the country reports, and the plan for Phase II.

This workshop is part of the SECCA project’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of the NCPs in the Central Asian countries, particularly in Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility.
