The workshop provided an overview of the main principles of sustainable energy policy planning, as well as best practices based on lessons learned by EU Member States and other countries in the Central Asia region (Kazakhstan). It also provided an opportunity for the specialists of MoEWR and other governmental and non-governmental organizations to discuss with SECCA key experts the challenges that Tajikistan faces in developing policy and designing implementation mechanisms for the promotion of sustainable energy.
