His vast experience in engineering combines technical components and strategic level assistance and guidance. With over 40 years of professional experience, he has directed his passion for research towards finding efficient, clean, and innovative ways to supply energy and minimise environmental damage. His excellent social and professional skills have earned him recurrent several assignments with the EU, UNDP, EIB, EBRD, World Bank, ADB, etc.
Holding a PhD in Science Engineering, she has more than 25 years of overall work experience in the energy sector, including specialised work in energy efficiency and renewable energy promotion as KE and SNKE on Energy in numerous national and international energy projects. She was also the Chairperson of the Board and KE of the Latvian Environmental Investment
Fund, Director of the Energy Department of the Latvian State Environmental Projects Agency, and Director of the Science & RE Department of the Latvian Energy Agency.
