The Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with the European Union funded project “Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia” (SECCA), is systematically working to promote and implement energy-efficient technologies in the country’s educational institutions.

As part of the visit to the Turkestan region, the representatives of the Committee of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Construction and the experts of the SECCA project present the Energy Efficiency Labels to the public schools built in 2023–2024, as well as deliver lectures for the representatives of these schools.

The goal of these activities is to raise awareness about Kazakhstan’s energy efficiency policy and showcase successful sustainable energy solutions in public buildings. This event represents an important step towards achieving national goals in reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency.
