This Roundtable aimed to promote geothermal energy in Kazakhstan, present regional and national experiences, discuss provisions of the draft Law on Alternative Energy Development, and explore practical opportunities for implementing projects using geothermal resources.

The representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, research institutes, universities, and the private sector from Kazakhstan, as well as experts from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan attended this event.
