This workshop is organised jointly by the Ministry of Industry and COnstruction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC Institute for Development of Electric Power Industry and Energy Saving, and the European Union funded SECCA project.

Purposes:

• improving the level of awareness and capacities of workshop participants on energy savings/energy efficiency and renewable energy sources
• reducing energy consumption in the industrial sector
• improving the understanding of the role of energy management in enterprises.

Target audience: Local executive bodies of the Turkestan region and the city of Turkestan, persons responsible for energy saving and representatives of SMEs of the Turkestan region and the city of Turkestan.
