At this workshop, the country teams presented the identified priority elements that can be explored via scenario analysis.

This Roundtable aimed to promote geothermal energy in Kazakhstan, present regional and national experiences, and explore practical opportunities for implementing projects using geothermal resources.

The participants reviewed the capacities of members of the Regional Group on Modelling, the country reports, and the plan for Phase II.

This workshop is part of the SECCA project’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacities of the NCPs in the Central Asian countries, particularly in Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility. 

The event will focus primarily on practical information, including partner search and the use of the National Contact Points network both nationally and regionally.

This event explores prospects and potential for the development of international research cooperation and opportunities for Turkmenistan’s participation in the EU’s Horizon Europe programme.
