This technical workshop was organised jointly by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union’s SECCA Project.

International and national SECCA experts presented international experience in promoting renewable energy development, with a focus on small hydropower, through state-owned specialised Funds. This experience could help the newly established Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in ensuring the sustainability of its activities.

The workshop included broad discussions about the presented matters, which in turn will help SECCA to plan further Technical Assistance programme.
