The conference was organised by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, National Academy of Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and Association of Renewable Energy of Tajikistan, in partnership with the European Union, GIZ, UNDP, USAID.

The delegates reviewed the current status of renewable energy development in Central Asia and ongoing green economy initiatives.
