The Conference provided an action-oriented forum for decision-makers to share experiences in the implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency policies in practice. In addition, it was also an opportunity to share experiences and best practices based on lessons learned by EU MSs, EnC CPs, and neighbours in the Central Asian region.

National stakeholders, sustainable energy policymakers from EU MSs and EnC CPs, professionals and professional associations, as well as representatives of academia, civil society organizations, and IFIs gathered at the Conference.

The conference was organised jointly by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union’s SECCA Project.
